10x10 inch fabric with thread painting stretched over canvas stretcher bars. Hang as is or framed (with or without glass)*. See last photo for image of corner and side of piece.

You email a very clear and detailed photo of your animal (we need to see individual hairs) and I print it on fabric and then stitch all over it with colorful threads. I use 30-60 different thread colors in each piece. The success of the piece is dependent on a good photo. The colors need to be as in real life, individual hairs and whiskers must be visible and no camera blur.

The images are cropped to be a close-up view of your special animal. Although 10x10 is fairly small, with a close-up it is sometimes larger than life. At this size I can't do a full face or body.

What I love most about these thread paintings is the depth that comes through with the photo and thread, the colors, and the showcasing of the animal's personality.
