I am having one of those days. The day when I feel like I am doing everything the hard way but I have no idea what the easy way is. You know what I mean right? It got me thinking about how I would love for someone to solve my problems. Not the hard ones (although that would be nice), just the little things that add up.
Then I remembered something I had read on The Abundant Artist. Cory was giving advice about how artists should solve problems for people (he teaches marketing). That sounded so odd at the time I didn't know what to do with the advice. However, on a day like today I can see what he means. It got me thinking about what I could do for you (my friends, fans, designers, collectors, etc).
I created these little flower fabric art pieces. They are super cheerful and ready to have a new home and solve a small problem for 3 of you. Some solutions these flowers offer; bringing cheer to your cubical, creating smiles in your entryway, or waking up to color in your bedroom. Maybe your problem is thinking of original gifts. The two flowers make a great wedding gift (symbolizing two spouses), a birthday present, or a baby shower (babies love my colors).
If you're like me, creating art can solve problems too. If I am feeling down, nothing cheers me up more than a new project. If you are an artist working with fabric you might like my newest fabric design (now available to the public on Spoonflower). What will you make with this fabric? Each leaf is about 4 inches wide and the print can be put on almost any kind of fabric at Spoonflower.
Can you think of a problem my art might solve for you? Challenge me, I want to help.
Love, Dawn Allen
